My background: I was a co-founder and the managing partner of Claraview, a strategy and information technology consulting firm specializing in data warehousing and business intelligence.  Claraview grew from zero in 2001 to $25 million in revenue in 2007 without any venture capital funding or long term debt.  In 2005, we spun off Clarabridge, the leading provider of text analytics software for customer experience management, into a separate venture-backed company now funded by Boulder Ventures, Intersouth Partners, and Grotech Ventures.  In March 2008, Claraview was acquired by Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), a global leader in data warehousing technology.  I hold a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Our posts will provide you with the premise and rationale behind our business model and give you some insight into how we think.  Our goal is to arm you with enough knowledge and research so you can decide whether or not the SmithAdams model is right for you.
