Seller FAQs
Why offer a choice of models?SmithAdams is about consumer choice in real estate. The needs of each customer is unique, so why should there only be one option as to how you can pay?
When do I choose the type of fee model? After a free introductory consultation, you decide which pricing model you prefer before our engagement begins.
Could FlexChoice’s fee-for-service model end up costing more than a commission? We cap our fees at 3% of the final transaction price. That way, sellers pay no more than if they used a traditional agent. More often than not, our clients see huge savings.
Note: If a sale never occurs, outstanding payments may exist for the time accrued. Naturally, this practice applies to the fee-for-service model in any professional services field.
If I can work with a traditional realtor for free, why offer a fee-for-service model? It’s true. You never have to pay if you never close a transaction. But for most people, the question is not “will I buy?” ––It’s “when will I buy?”
Eventually, when you buy, you’ll have fees or a commission to pay. So it’s never too early to start thinking about the best way to manage cost.
I'm selling a property. Won't I get more exposure with a big, national brokerage? Not at all. Every real estate brokerage uses the same centralized information repository — the Multiple Listing Service — to submit and search properties on the market.
